In early August I was hired to fly to Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) for a three day design charrette . The result was a preliminary design for a 5,000+ s.f. home sitting on 420 acres. The unexpected was going up to 12,500 feet in a plane and free-falling a mile (in tandem) with my clients brother, legendary Canadian skydiver Lyal Waddell (a.k.a. Superman).
