Based on the clients desire, this home required a different, decidedly modern approach to design. Built on a narrow peninsula, the most critical challenge was to develop a contemporary structure with a relationship to the land and water that surround it. The creation of shapes and forms balanced with solids and voids evolved to create an avant-garde feel. A serious of spiral staircases leading from the ground floor to the flat rooftop lanai serves as a gateway to a majestic 360-degree view of the all pervading, ocean, land and sky.
